Description
Engagement: Subcontract / Business Partnership (not employment)
About the Opportunity
We are an established property services business expanding our pre-sale offering under a broader property collective model. Our services include conveyancing, mini home makeovers, painting and cosmetic pre-sale improvements.
We are now seeking an experienced interior stylist or property stager to come on board as a contractor / lead operator to run and grow the staging and styling arm of the business with the view to partnership if all works out well.
This opportunity is suited to someone who wants ownership, autonomy and upside, without having to build the entire infrastructure from scratch.
What’s On Offer
- Access to an existing furniture inventory
- Warm leads through an established seller and agent network
- A broader ecosystem of complementary services that staging naturally feeds into
- A genuine opportunity to co-build and grow a profitable division, rather than “just take jobs”
This is not a job — it’s a chance to step into a ready-made platform and help shape its direction.
Your Role
You will act as the lead stylist and operator, responsible for:
- end-to-end delivery of staging and styling projects
- creative direction and execution
- managing installs, pack-downs and logistics (Director will also assist with this)
- liaising with agents and sellers
- running the day-to-day staging operation independently
Staging will act as a front-end service that complements and drives:
- mini home makeovers
- painting and cosmetic improvements
- conveyancing services (handled internally)
What This Is (and Isn’t)
This IS:
- a subcontract arrangement with the view to possible partnership
- autonomous and self-directed
- commercially focused
- suited to an experienced stylist ready to step into a bigger role
This is NOT:
- an employed position
- a junior or assistant role
- a role requiring training, supervision or micromanagement
Key Requirements
About You
You:
- have proven experience in property staging or interior styling (or some one with a creative mindset who can show they can excel in this space)
- are confident running projects independently
- think commercially, not just creatively
- value reliability, accountability and clear agreements
- are excited by the idea of building something alongside an established business
You may already be running your own styling business and looking for:
- scale
- infrastructure
- consistent work
- or a more strategic partnership opportunity
Structure & Next Steps
- Subcontract / revenue-share or structure (to be agreed)
- Initial trial / pilot period with clear expectations on both sides
- Opportunity to formalise a longer-term partnership if aligned
