About the Role:
As the Interior Styling Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the NSW Interior Styling team, ensuring high standards of service and project delivery. In this role, you’ll provide expert styling advice to clients, manage client projects from start to finish, and help the team build new business opportunities. Primarily though, you will be responsible for sourcing and winning clients for the NSW Interior Styling Team.
You will also play a key part in mentoring and developing your team, staying up-to-date with products and industry trends, and working closely with other parts of the business to ensure our styling solutions are always of the highest quality.
This role could suit someone with a Real Estate background or strong Business Development experience with an interest in design, or an Interior Stylist with a proven background in attracting and winning clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Winning New Work: Identify and pursue new business opportunities for the team, targeting potential clients and expanding the client base to grow revenue.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire the NSW Interior Styling team, ensuring they are motivated, equipped, and empowered to perform at their best.
- Client Advisory: Provide expert advice on interior styling solutions, ensuring the highest level of service and customer satisfaction.
- Project Management: Manage client projects from initial proposal through to installation, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with Alfresco Emporium products and build strong relationships with third-party suppliers.
- Styling Installations: Oversee and contribute to styling installations, ensuring smooth execution, including pre and postproduction processes
- Technical Proficiency: Utilize programs such as CIN7, Monday, and Floor Planner to streamline operations and improve workflow management.
- Reporting and Tracking: Track results, measure successes, and provide detailed monthly reports on team performance, client feedback, and business development.
Key Requirements
About You:
- You have a strong sales or business development background.
- You have proven experience in interior styling and a strong background in managing or leading a team.
- You are creative, with a deep understanding of design trends and styling solutions that align with client needs.
- You are proactive in identifying and securing new business, with a focus on building long-term relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to working with clients, suppliers, and your team.
- You are proficient in using software such as CIN7, Monday, and Floor Planner to manage projects and improve workflow.
- You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple projects.
- Previous experience in sales or business development is highly desirable.
