Position Overview
We are on the hunt for a Business Development who is hungry and eager for success and willing to chase the big projects.
You’ll play a key role in driving our business forward, identifying new opportunities, and fostering relationships with key Architects, Developers and Builders.
We’re looking for someone with entrepreneurial creativity, who can think outside the box and find and grow opportunities.
This position requires strong relationship building skills, being proactive, and an attention-to-detail to convert leads into projects, building our sales funnel.
Key Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Leads Management – Find and nurture business opportunities, nurturing leads through our proven methodology to convert to sales projects. Activity and KPIs are largely phone and F2F meetings, we have a strong focus on data and measurement.
- Proactive outreach – Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders in our target industries, growing desire for our brand and products. We know that to succeed in this, the hard yards of proactive calls and meetings have to be sustained every day.
- Technical Knowledge – Develop a sound knowledge of a broad range of products and service, as well as clearly articulate benefits and solutions to key stakeholders.
- Administration – Meticulously record customer enquiries and job information details into the CRM database. Manage inbound and outbound calls and meet measured KPIs focusing on quality of service.
Qualifications and Skills
- A hunger to succeed and grow, desire and ability to create and grow opportunities.
- Strong knowledge and experience in the commercial construction and Architecture and Design space.
- A disciplined and routine approach to time and task management, with proficiency in CRM data software (e.g. Salesforce) and MS Office Suite.
- Emotional intelligence and is able to engender trust with the customer.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail.
