Description
A growing Sydney architecture studio seeking an experienced ArchiCAD-skilled Graduate or Architect to join the team on a contract basis for an immediate project push across a range of exciting cultural and residential projects.
This opportunity would suit someone who is confident working with a high degree of autonomy, enjoys taking initiative, and is looking to contribute meaningfully within a small, design-focused studio environment.
This initial contract role has potential for a longer-term or permanent opportunity as the studio continues to grow.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute effectively within a project team while also working independently
- Communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing
- Bring a proactive, positive, and engaging approach to your work
- Produce and coordinate documentation in ArchiCAD
- Support tender packages and project delivery
- Opportunity to take ownership and responsibility within projects
Key Requirements
Skills and experience
- Relevant architecture background
- Professional practice experience, ideally working for similar design-led studios with exposure to cultural/community and residential projects
- Strong ArchiCAD essential
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in documentation and detailing
- Strong communication skills (written, visual, and verbal), with a collaborative and personable approach
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
