Your opportunity

The Design Commercial Administrator plays a key role in the procurement, contract administration and financial reporting of Construction project trade contracts. We build strong working relationships that meet the expectations of our internal and external stakeholders to achieve project WHS, commercial, quality and program objectives.

Day-to-day you will :

  • Manage all commercial and financial activities to ensure completed works achieve the Work, Health, Safety & Environmental (WHS&E), Sustainability (ESD), time, cost and quality objectives for the project;
  • Manage the procurement, establishment and the proper administration of all allocated subcontracts and/or supply agreements.
  • Ensure all commercial administration activities on the project are in accordance with Scentre policies and procedures;
  • Assist in the timely and accurate submission of project reporting

When tenders are out, your phone will be very busy dealing with stakeholders clarifying and querying documents.  You will need to work at pace to deal with queries on pricing. Your communication with subcontractors must be clear and consistent so they are always informed.  There will be various weekly meetings that take place with your internal and external stakeholders to understand progress of tenders and how the works are progressing on site.

This role is a contract for 12 months, Full-time.
