High-End Residential & Design-Led Projects - Eastern Suburbs, Sydney
An exciting opportunity has become available for an Interior Designer to join a highly regarded, design-led studio specialising in bespoke residential and commercial interiors.
This is a collaborative, hands-on role where you will support senior designers across the full project lifecycle - from concept through to delivery - working on beautifully considered, high-end spaces.
The Role
You will be involved in a wide variety of interior design projects, assisting in both creative and technical delivery:
- Prepare concept designs, presentations and sample boards
- Develop drawings and documentation for tender and construction
- Conduct site visits, take measurements and document conditions
- Source furniture, fixtures and finishes aligned to design intent and budget
- Assist with client presentations and design recommendations
- Liaise with clients, consultants, builders and suppliers
- Support project coordination and attend site and client meetings
- Maintain material libraries and product schedules
Key Requirements
Skills & Experience
- Degree qualified in Interior Design / Interior Architecture
- Experience across residential or design-led projects
- Strong understanding of materials, finishes and construction methods
- Knowledge of DA/CC processes and relevant building codes
- Proficiency in Vectorworks and SketchUp (essential)
- Ability to interpret briefs and contribute creatively to design outcomes
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- High attention to detail with strong organisational capability
