We are looking for a Design and Colour Consultant to join our team who enjoys working with clients, providing them with the guidance and support necessary to make their dream home a reality. A candidate who can create stronger relationships with customers and trades.

Our established construction firm is growing its clientele, and we have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Interior Designer/Colour Consultant to join our team of professionals. Jobs & Responsibilities

  • Arranging appointments for colour selections with clients.
  • Help clients select the best colour combinations for their homes.
  • Preparing and presenting interior design proposals for residential homes
  • Producing drawings including 3d models and renders, good quality design outcomes, and documentation
  • Preparing the colour boards and mark-ups for presentation and sales aides.
  • Building business relationships with external suppliers.
  • Ensuring completed colour selections are in line with final contract documentation.
  • Be time savvy ensuring finalised colours meet tight timelines.
  • Contacting trades for updated brochures.
  • Document retrieval and maintenance of client colour files.
  • Administrative support as required.

Essential experience

  • Diploma in Interior Design or bachelor’s degree in Interior Design/Architecture
  • 2 - 3 years minimum experience in the industry
  • Proficiency with SketchUp, ArchiCAD and Adobe PhotoShop
