Interior Designer, Junior/Mid Level

Brendan Wong Design are seeking a Junior/Mid Level Interior Designer to join our team in creating luxury, high-end residential homes for private clients. Our unique designs require exacting execution so candidates should have drafting knowledge in AutoCAD and proficiency in SketchUp including detailed rendering.  The role requires the ability to be agile and shift across various projects under the guidance of senior designers.  This is an opportunity for someone who is creatively minded and technically skilled to work in a friendly, nurturing environment with a small team of dedicated professionals.



- Collaborate with design team to develop unique design concepts that respond to client objectives.  Develop design including form, material selection and overall aesthetic.

- Produce SketchUp views during concept phase with quality, detailed rendering.

- Collaborate in preparing client presentations for both construction and furnishing projects.

- Produce detailed technical drawings using AutoCAD, ensuring accuracy and buildability.

- Manage your own deadlines within overall project program to ensure timely delivery of work.

- Liaise with suppliers and consultants.

- Attend site visits, inspections and installations as required with the design team.


Key Requirements

Skills & Experience:

- Interior Design/ Interior Architecture tertiary qualification.

- Minimum of 2 years of professional interior design experience.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D with strong drafting skills.

- Proficiency in Sketchup 3D including quality rendering.

- Able to undertake straightforward editing in Adobe Photoshop.

- Good communication skills.

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering innovative design solutions.

- Experience working in residential projects is preferred.

- Currently hold the right to work in Australia, preferably with an Australian driver’s licence.
