Totem Road is on on the lookout for a passionate and driven Casual or Part time Sales Consultant to join our team in Paddington. We're specifically seeking someone who is available to work a mix of weekdays and weekends. The role will start with approximately 15 - 25 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours during busy periods or to cover team holidays.
This is a great opportunity to be part of one of Sydney’s leading sustainable furniture brands. You'll play a key role in representing our brand ethos and helping customers find pieces they’ll love through meaningful, design led conversations in our showroom.
Requirements
This is a fantastic hands on opportunity for someone with a passion for sales or a background in Interior Design to join a company making its mark in the furniture industry and currently experiencing exciting growth. We're looking for someone who thrives in a close knit team environment but is also confident working independently.
Key Requirements
We're looking for a retail sales consultant with:
- Strong sales and customer service skills, able to close high value sales
- Excellent product knowledge with a creative eye for interiors and design
- A confident and skilled communicator, comfortable following up by phone and re-engaging customers
- Hands on approach with a willingness to step up and do what it takes to get the job done
- Reliable, with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently
- Growth mindset, always seeking new ideas, evolving personally and professionally
- Available to work across weekends
- Confident using a range of admin platforms, including email, CRM systems, and Shopify.
- Target Driven & KPI Management, experience working towards KPIs, and meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience in building relationships with clients and developing long-term customer loyalty
- Data analysis and sales reporting, experience in collating and using sales data to inform decisions and report to stakeholders
- Must hold or be eligible for a valid work permit in Australia
Experience:
- Sales experience in furniture or homewares is highly regarded. Experience in Interior Design or current study in the field is also a strong advantage
