We have an opening for a Property Stylist Assistant. This is a great opportunity for a career in property styling and to learn from one of the best in the business.
ABOUT THIS ROLE:
You will be highly motivated and can work on your own and in a team environment. You'll need to have a keen eye for detail, be highly organised and be a great communicator.
We are looking for someone who enjoys having a busy and challenging role and can work under pressure. No day is the same!
Our ideal candidate will be expected to:
Management of Pack Down/Bump Outs:
- Conduct an efficient pack down and bump out of properties after staging is complete.
- Ensure all items are cleaned, carefully and securely packed, and transported.
- Follow flip instructions if required from paperwork.
- Return to the warehouse and unpack all decor, cushions, etc.
- Strip any dirty linen or cushion covers ready for washing at the warehouse and put them away once cleaned.
Installation Assistance:
- Assist your senior stylist with the installation of styled spaces, including making beds, ironing linens, and untubbing décor ready for styling.
- Clear tubs and tools during the styling process.
- Load leftover items and tools into the van at the end of the install.
- Ensure everything is in place for a flawless presentation.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of both the properties being styled and the warehouse.
- Perform general maintenance tasks to keep the warehouse organized and functional.
- Maintain your tool kits and tools as required (e.g., Laura Star irons, vacuum cleaners, kits).
Logistics:
- Unload and load vans with staging materials, ensuring items are handled with care.
- Coordinate with the team to ensure timely and efficient transportation of items.
Warehouse Duties:
- Unpack and pack items for various jobs, ensuring everything is accounted for and in good condition.
- Maintain general upkeep of the warehouse, including organizing and storing items properly.
General Ad Hoc Duties:
- Assist with any additional tasks as required to support the styling team and ensure smooth operations.
Key Requirements
Requirements for the role:
- Previous experience in a similar role or a strong interest in property styling and interior design.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong physical stamina to handle the demands of loading/unloading and installation tasks.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to take on various responsibilities.
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive a van preferred.
- Full Drivers Licence and suitable own car
- Availability Mon-Fri 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm.
