SALES SUPPORT / SHOWROOM MANAGER – PART TIME Position: 27 hrs per week (Monday to Friday)

We are a Specialist in the Supply of Ceramic and Porcelain Tiles and have been operating in Australia for over 50 years, servicing Domestic, Residential and Commercial Markets. A renowned Leader in our market, we have developed a long and proud history grounded in manufacturing, product development and quality customer service. We support a large Customer base in all States within Australia & New Zealand.

Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for the continuous development and growth of both new and existing customers. This role will focus on customer engagements in following up quotes, managing the day to day of the showroom and promoting the showroom usage to be a ‘design-hub’ for local commercial builders.

Key Responsibilities & Focus

  • Assist new and existing clientele with enquiries, tile selections, pricing / quoting
  • Working with clients in recommending products based on their suitability
  • Manage the day-to-day functions of the showroom.
  • Support the National Customer Service Team as required
  • Ensuring the showroom is clean & tidy and displays are kept up-to-date
  • Liaising with customers, architects, designers and builders
  • Prepare and organise samples within our sample library
  • Merchandise into libraries and arrange sample delivery to Architects & Designers
  • Support sales growth through pipeline management ensuring high level conversion rate

Key Requirements

About You: 

  • A team player, with a positive, enthusiastic “can do” attitude
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative and problem solve efficiently and effectively
  • Good Time management & organisational skills with Attention to Detail
  • Has an interest in interior design / architecture paired with a creative mindset
  • Good computer Skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to work automously and as a team
  • Physically fit to handle tiles and heavy products

 

Previous experience in the Tile Industry and/or Design background is desirable, but not essential.
