We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Showroom Assistant to join our growing team in Rushcutters Bay. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career within the design industry while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic showroom environment.

About the Role
As a Showroom Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting our sales team and delivering an outstanding experience to architects, designers, builders, and homeowners visiting our showroom.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting customers and supporting our Sales Representatives with product selection, design advice, and tile recommendations.
- Preparing and managing customer quotations and sales enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Maintaining the presentation, cleanliness, and organisation of the showroom and samples department.
- Managing sample inventory, including ordering stock and collecting materials from our warehouse.
- Preparing tile samples and cutting tiles to the required sample size.
- Producing sample boards and assisting with marketing displays and materials.
- Coordinating the dispatch of samples to clients through courier services.
- Assisting with general showroom operations, including manual handling and restocking of tile displays and shelving.
Key Requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
- An interest in Interior Design or a relevant qualification (highly regarded).
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, retail, or a client-facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- The ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail and pride in your work.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Physical capability to undertake manual handling and lifting duties.
- A current and valid Australian Driver's Licence (essential).
