About the Role
You will be based in our BELROSE showroom at HomeCo Supercenter Niangala Cl, Belrose NSW 2085.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Showroom Sales Consultant to be the first point of contact for our customers. Your role will focus on welcoming clients into the showroom and guiding them through our process — with the goal of booking in-home design appointments with our experienced Kitchen Designers.
This is not a design role to begin with. Instead, if interested, you’ll be trained to follow our proven system for customer engagement, sales, and lead generation. After 6–12 months, if you have proved yourself as the right sales person, you’ll step up into full Kitchen Designer training — opening the door to an exciting design career and significant earning potential. Once trained, $120K+ is just the beginning of a rewarding career. This is an apprenticeship into kitchen design. Great position for a sales person wanting to kick start their career in design.
Please note, you will start as a showroom consultant and work this path for 6-12 months depending on your ability in sales.
Alternativley, you may not want to progress to kitchen designer and be our best fit as a full time showroom consulltant as we are also looking for a full time consultant.
What You’ll Do
- Welcome customers into our Belrose showroom and create a great first impression
- Understand their needs and introduce them to our design process
- Sell and book design appointments for in-home design consultations
- Follow our structured system to generate qualified leads
- Learn from top performers and prepare for progression into kitchen design
- Become an outstanding kitchen designer ,on the road ,designing kitchens in customers homes.
Key Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Outgoing, bubbly, confident personality with strong people and selling skills
- Retail, hospitality, or customer service experience highly regarded
- A professional presentation and genuine interest in home and lifestyle
- Goal-driven and motivated to achieve results
- Availability to work every Saturday.
- 5 days per week, Tues - Saturday or Mon - Thursday and Saturday.
- A desire to build a career — not just a job
- Proven sales or retail sales background — a natural closer
- Confident, persuasive communicator with strong people skills
- Resilient, competitive, and motivated by targets
- Interest in design/home improvement is a bonus, but sales drive is essential
