Join Our Team - Styling + Sales Consultant

Huntley + Co is a premier Sydney-based hire company specialising in hire for the property styling industry. Established six years ago, we are in an exciting growth phase and seeking an energetic individual to join our front-of-house team as a Styling + Sales Consultant in our Lane Cove West showroom.

The Role: This dynamic position is essential in driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service. As the primary client contact, you’ll expertly manage inquiries, assist with product selections, exceed sales targets, and maintain an up-to-date customer database. Your success in this role will directly contribute to Huntley + Co's growth.

Key Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, handling phone calls, emails, and in-person consultations in the showroom.
  • Assist clients with stock selections, helping them curate bespoke styling schemes.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets by converting inbound leads and proactively prospecting new business opportunities.
  • Maintain and update our customer database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date client information.
  • Impress clients with your deep product knowledge and ability to recommend the best solutions to meet their needs.
  • Contribute to the styling and upkeep of our showroom to ensure it remains an inspiring and welcoming space.

About You:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Exceptional communication skills and a passion for customer service.
  • Proven sales experience, with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Ability to multitask and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outstanding organisational and time management skills.
  • Confidence in curating styling schemes that align with client briefs.
  • A love of interiors/styling, with up-to-date knowledge of industry trends.
  • Tertiary studies in interior design or styling, or relevant industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • A team-oriented mindset, with a willingness to collaborate and support your colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Mac-based computer systems.
