Client Care Executive

Havwoods International | Sydney CBD | Full-time, with part-time considered

Havwoods is recruiting a motivated, results-driven Client Care Executive to join its Sydney showroom team.

Havwoods is a leading global supplier of premium interior timber finishes, including timber flooring, wall cladding and timber joinery veneers. Established in the UK in 1975 and operating in Australia since 2010, Havwoods works closely with architects, interior designers, builders and trade professionals across residential and commercial projects.

The role

This is a showroom-based position focused on supporting clients, following up sales opportunities and contributing to the day-to-day operation of the Sydney showroom.

You will use phone, email and face-to-face communication to assist customers, qualify enquiries and progress opportunities. You will also work closely with the Showroom Manager, Business Development Managers and wider sales team to deliver a high level of service and help convert enquiries into sales.

Key responsibilities include:

• Qualifying and following up existing sales opportunities by phone and email
• Assisting clients in the showroom and responding to product enquiries
• Building strong product knowledge to help customers achieve their flooring and design aspirations
• Preparing quotes for customers
• Booking showroom appointments and presentations for the showroom and Business Development teams
• Supporting overflow showroom appointments, events and product launches
• Maintaining accurate customer and sales information within the CRM
• Following established sales processes and completing accurate data entry
• Developing relationships with architects, interior designers and trade professionals
• Supporting product awareness campaigns, seasonal promotions and general showroom operations
• Working towards agreed sales activity and conversion targets
• Proactive outreach to new contacts via phone, to introduce Havwoods range

About you

Havwoods is looking for someone who is self-motivated, accountable and confident communicating with customers.

You will ideally have:

• A genuine passion for sales, customer service and business growth
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• The confidence to follow up enquiries and influence a positive outcome
• The ability to identify a customer’s needs and recommend the right product solution
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A professional and engaging approach to showroom clients
• The ability to work collaboratively with the showroom, sales and Business Development teams
• An interest in interiors, architecture, materials and design
• Experience managing customer expectations

Previous sales experience within the construction, interiors, architecture or specification industries would be highly regarded, as would an understanding of the specification and qualification process. However, candidates with strong customer service or retail sales experience and a genuine interest in the design industry are also encouraged to apply.

This is a full-time role, although part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate. The position is based in the Sydney showroom and reports to the Head of Sales.
