The Role

We are currently seeking a Client Experience & Showroom Coordinator to join our Premium Team at the La Cornue Showroom in Surry Hills.

This is a junior role and an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in the premium appliances, architecture, or interior design industry. The role offers valuable exposure to high-end kitchen design, premium appliances, and the architecture and design community in Sydney.

This position is a Monday to Friday role (9:00am – 5:00pm) based full-time in the La Cornue showroom in Surry Hills.

As the first point of contact for the showroom, you will represent the prestige and heritage of La Cornue, welcoming visitors and supporting our sales and business development teams. You will manage showroom enquiries, phone calls, and appointment bookings while coordinating consultations with Sales Specialists.

The role also supports the growth of our trade network by researching architects, interior designers, kitchen companies, and builders who may benefit from specifying appliances from the Signature Appliances portfolio, while assisting Business Development Managers and Account Managers with coordinating meetings and showroom visits.

This position plays an important part in positioning the La Cornue showroom as a destination for Sydney’s architecture and design community, while offering an excellent learning environment for someone eager to develop within the industry.

Responsibilities

● Deliver an exceptional and welcoming client experience to all showroom visitors

● Act as the first point of contact for incoming phone calls, enquiries, and showroom appointments

● Coordinate and manage showroom consultations with Sales Specialists

● Maintain CRM records, client profiles, and prospect lists

● Support the sales team with administrative tasks and client follow-ups

● Assist with preparing quotations, documentation, and order processing where required

● Maintain the showroom in pristine condition, ensuring displays reflect the premium standards of the La Cornue brand

● Research and identify architects, interior designers, kitchen companies, and builders for trade engagement

● Support outreach initiatives to introduce the La Cornue showroom and Signature Appliances portfolio to the design and building industry

● Coordinate meetings and showroom visits for Business Development Managers and Account Managers

● Assist with showroom events, demonstrations, and private presentations for clients and trade partners

● Prepare refreshments and ensure a welcoming hospitality experience for visitors

Key Requirements

Experience & Skills

● Enthusiastic and proactive attitude with a strong customer focus

● Strong communication and interpersonal skills with high attention to detail

● Previous experience in administration, retail, hospitality, or customer service is beneficial but not essential

● Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks

● Professional presentation suitable for a luxury showroom environment

● Good computer skills including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace

● Interest in architecture, interior design, luxury appliances, or the building industry is highly desirable

● Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and business development managers
