Unitex is a family owned company and is Australia's leading wholesaler of rugs. We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Showroom Consultant in our beautiful Alexandria showroom. The position will suit a self driven personality and those with sales experience.
In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales of our beautiful rugs.
Responsibilities
- Engaging with customers in our showroom, understanding their needs and preferences, and providing expert guidance to help them find the perfect products for their homes
- Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets through exceptional customer service and consultative selling techniques
- Maintaining a clean, well-organised and visually appealing showroom to create a positive shopping experience
- Collaborating with the broader sales and marketing team to support promotional activities and events
Key Requirements
What we're looking for
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer-facing sales or retail role - interior design background highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers
- Strong product knowledge and a passion for interior design and home décor trends
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets through consultative selling
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
