Havwoods are recruiting a hungry, results-driven Sales Executive to join our Sydney team based in our Sydney CBD showroom. We are experiencing significant year-on-year growth and as an outcome, we are recruiting an A-Player to join our high performing team.This is a showroom-based sales role focused on following up inbound project opportunities, managing and progressing a pipeline of deals, closing sales, and supporting the Sydney Showroom team.

You will be using phone, email and showroom appointments to qualify opportunities, build relationships, provide product solutions, generate quotes and convert enquiries into sales.

The role also includes supporting showroom appointments, booking client meetings or BDM presentations, assisting with showroom events, and supporting with general showroom operational tasks.

You will be supported by an established brand, strong marketing activity, a premium showroom, experienced BDMs, and a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Proactively following up existing pipeline opportunities by phone and email
  • Converting sales leads into quotes, deals and closed sales
  • Understanding customer needs and recommending suitable Havwoods products and solutions
  • Generating accurate and timely customer quotes
  • Booking showroom appointments and BDM presentations across NSW
  • Supporting overflow showroom appointments and showroom events
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and updating customer and sales activity
  • Working within established sales processes and follow-up disciplines
  • Analysing your sales metrics to improve activity, conversion and performance
  • Building strong relationships with architects, designers, trade customers and industry contacts
  • Supporting new product launches, seasonal promotions and brand awareness activity

  • Making consistent outbound phone contact, with an expectation of 20+ quality outbound conversations per day
  • Progressing and converting pipeline opportunities
  • Booking presentations and showroom appointments
  • Creating and qualifying new deals
  • Maintaining strong conversion rates
  • Demonstrating effective and diligent CRM practice
  • Contributing positively to a high-performance team culture

About You

Experience

The following experience would be highly regarded:

  • Previous sales experience in construction, interiors, building products, flooring, surfaces, design or a related industry
  • Understanding of project sales, specification or qualification processes
  • Experience managing customer expectations and progressing pipeline opportunities
  • A proven track record of achieving sales results
  • Experience using a CRM system and working to activity-based KPIs
