Position Overview:

We are seeking a Studio Coordinator to join our dynamic design and creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating various studio activities, managing schedules, and ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day tasks. The Studio Co-ordinator provides administrative support to the local studio and general assistance to the business as a whole.

 

Key Requirements

The person in this role requires exceptional communication skills, patience and discretion as it interacts with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally. The studio co-ordinator is proactive and highly organised, presentable, and possesses a polite, approachable, helpful, energetic, friendly, outgoing and personable manner.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Phones, studio queries, receiving visitors & deliveries
  • Coordinate studio activities and schedules including maintenance and repairs
  • Coordinate events, meetings, catering
  • Assist with project planning and execution
  • Assist with new starter onboarding including IT equipment set up
  • Manage studio supplies, inventory and orders
  • Liaise with clients and consultants as needed
  • Provide administrative support to the studio and the practice more broadly, as required

Skills:

  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of project management software including Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification in Administration, Business or related field; or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years previous experience in a similar role - in a design related business an advantage
  • Familiarity with design software (Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
