Description

This progressive Australian business has impressive showrooms in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Singapore, and Kuala Lumpur where they host exceptional product launches and industry events.

Working with the Design and Sales team in the beautiful Alexandria showroom, the ideal candidate for this role will have a love for residential interior design and demonstrated experience in product sales and exceptional client service.

You will be given full product training and learn about the craftsmanship and design process involved in creating these iconic furniture pieces.

The showroom is open 7 days a week and would require someone to work Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end sales for residential and retail customers
  • Take people through flooring and furniture selection, customisation, and design consultation
  • Coordinate deliveries, installation and inhouse placement when appropriate
  • Prepare design presentations for clients when needed
  • Monitor and maintain client and supplier database and pipeline
  • Assist in the management of shared spaces within the showroom
  • Attend corporate and industry events as required

Key Requirements

Skills and Experience 

  • Interior Design tertiary qualification desirable
  • Demonstrated high-end customer service or sales experience relevant to the interior design market
  • Ability to read and work with interior documentation, including drawing layouts professionally
  • Exceptional understanding of spatial planning, colour, and fabrics
  • High level knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Business Central, PowerPoint and Excel
