Our client is an interior design-focused leader in the high-end furniture industry and has been established for decades. They now require an additional Project Consultant to join their friendly commercial team in Sydney.

They offer sophisticated, world class, high-end, designer led furniture & soft furnishings to Architects, Designers, Builders, End Users and Retail customers alike. They cater to multiple market sectors and have built a solid reputation in Australia, strong brand recognition with exemplary service.

The sales team, partnered with its back up sales support, is peerless and top of class in the industry. They have a unique working environment, relaxed and relationship based selling approach. The staff retention rate at this company is solid and 60% of the staff at the company have been with the business for more than 5 years, they invest a lot of time and development into their staff members.

They host showrooms in most major cities across Australia, manufacture here in Australia, and are Australian owned and operated. They have a great sustainability and design story to share with the community.

Role

Our client has a unique commercial sales opportunity available, servicing their top tier A&D clients. You must have a strategic focus on your sales process and an extensive product knowledge on the decorative building products sector.

Furniture experience is highly desired but not essential. You will be working from the office in Sydney's city fringe and out on the road visiting clients.

The role will naturally grow, and you will have an opportunity to grow with the business as it continues to experience strong year on year growth. The role offers a lucrative uncapped commission structure. You will be working in a fun and dynamic team with great company values and culture. Your role will be reporting to the Commercial Sales Manager and focus purely on the commercial market.

Key Requirements

Skills & Experience
To be considered for this role you must have:

  • Commercial OR Resi Furniture sales experience is highly desired but not essential. Either strong A&D Sales experience or Furniture.
  • Strong tenure in previous positions and seeking a longer-term career move.
  • Well networked and contacts within the A&D community is highly desired.
  • Strong work ethic and eager to grow professionally and personally.
  • Proven track record in sales within the decorative building products industry.
  • Understanding of the commercial/resi furniture space is highly desired.
  • High degree of energy, dynamic, self-motivated and desire to be rewarded with your hard efforts.
  • Happy to work from showroom and on the road.
  • Enjoy meeting and entertaining clients.
  • Can work five days a week. Monday - Friday.
