At Kave Home, we create beautiful, sustainable furniture and homewares for style-conscious homes worldwide. We’re expanding in Australia and seeking a Design Consultant to join our Alexandria Store team and deliver the outstanding experiences our customers expect from a premium brand.
We are currently seeking a full time Design Consultant who is passionate about great service and has a flair for interior design and exceptional communication. Ideally, you will have a balance of sales experience in a leadership position, design passion and an affinity for building relationships with both residential clients and trade professionals.
The current position is full time, offering 5 days a week including at least 1 weekend day.
On a day-to-day basis you can expect to:
- Support the Store Manager to lead and motivate our team to success.
- Help to build a collaborative and service focused culture in line with brand and company standards.
- Offer solutions and retail product to both residential and trade industry clients
- Build industry relationships in the local design community through our Kave trade program
- Achieve monthly sales targets, while delivering exceptional customer service
- Take ownership for maintaining our visual merchandising and global showroom standards
- Be part of a fun innovative team, delighting our clients at every turn
Key Requirements
Other important requirements for this Sales role:
- Demonstrated experience as a retail leader, preferably within the furniture or fashion industry.
- Organised with excellent communication skills, and a mature, grounded approach.
- Ability to work within a target driven environment, with KPI achievement.
- Strong ability to build rapport customers
- Proactive positive attitude with ability to engage and mentor a small team
- A passion for interior design and knowledge of some design programs
