Baytina is growing rapidly in the tile game, and we have brought our signature tile collections, fast turnaround, and project-driven approach to Sydney.
With our headquarters and flagship showroom established in Canberra, we have now opened our Tile showroom in Moorebank. We're looking for a confident, motivated individual who enjoys working across design, trade, and project sales, and wants to play a hands-on role in building our NSW presence.
This is not a standard retail position. You'll be working closely with designers, suppliers and builders, supporting everything from selections and specifications through to project quoting and supply coordination. You'll be the key point of contact for our Sydney clients, while staying closely connected to our Canberra sales, warehouse, and logistics teams.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing the day-to-day running of operations and sales.
- Working directly with interior designers on selections, finishes, and tile specifications organising samples and information.
- Assisting builders and developers with product advice, pricing, and project support
- Handling a mix of showroom walk-ins, trade clients, and project enquiries
- Preparing quotes, invoices, and managing orders from enquiry through to delivery
- Coordinating with our Canberra team to ensure smooth stock allocation and logistics
- Supporting sales growth across residential and commercial projects
- Building long-term relationships with designers, builders, and repeat clients
- Maintaining showroom presentation, displays, and sample organisation
Key Requirements
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years experience in showroom sales, trade sales, B2B sales, or design-related roles
- Experience with designers, builders, and professional clients
- Very good computer-based skills with software, emailing and marketing needs.
- Strong communication skills and confident client-facing presence
- Interest in interior design, architecture, construction, or finishes
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects at once
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently
- Experience with quoting, invoicing, CRM or ERP systems is highly regarded
- All listed requirements are essential for this role including sales experience, computer skills, CRM systems experience, design software proficiency, and tile industry knowledge
- Prior use of design equipment and software.
- Tile, stone, or building materials experience
