About the role
Crafted Furniture / Maker&Son is looking for a Part-time CAD + Administration Assistant to join our team in our Paddington, NSW location. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and detail-oriented individual to contribute to the success of our furniture design and retail operations.
What you'll be doing
- Utilising CAD software to assist in order documentation
- Assisting clients in the showroom and via phone/email with queries
- Providing administrative support to the design and retail teams, including quote preparation, file management, order processing, and customer communications
- Contributing to the overall smooth running of the in-store operations
- Collaborating with the broader team to ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction
Key Requirements
What we're looking for
- Proficiency in using CAD software, with experience in furniture design a plus
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to the needs of a dynamic retail environment
- Renumeration: $30 – $40 per hour
