Interior designer (part time & or contract work)

North West & Hills District Sydney NSW

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ Interior design experience in residential projects
• Creative designer with strong design skills and attention to details
• Proficient in design software such as Auto CAD, SketchUp and Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong documentation skills
• Interior Design qualification
• Knowledge of trade requirements, products, materials, finishes, and specifications.
• Awareness of Interior design trends & styles

Role:

Work alongside the practice principal designer on the following:

• Developing interior design concepts for new custom-built homes & renovations
• Selecting & sourcing Internal & external materials & finishes
• Creation of schedule of finishes & mood boards
• Assist in undertaking the overall design process from concept to completion
• Production of working drawings, plans, schedules & specifications
• Creating layout furnishing plans & sourcing all furnishing products
• Construction site visits (white card required)
