Description
We are seeking a talented and hospitality project experienced Interior Documenter to join our dynamic team at Paul Kelly Design, based in the vibrant suburb of Surry Hills, NSW. As an Interior Documenter, you will play a crucial role in transforming our clients' visions into reality through the development of detailed design documentation. This full-time position offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality interior design projects in the Pub, Cafe, Restaurant and Bar Markets.
Australian work rights are required for this position.
What you'll be doing
- Producing comprehensive design documentation, including detailed drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Collaborating closely with our design team to ensure the accurate interpretation and translation of design concepts
- Coordinating with external stakeholders, such as contractors and suppliers, to facilitate the seamless implementation of interior design solutions
- Maintaining meticulous records and documentation throughout the design and construction phases
- Providing technical support and advice to project teams as needed
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in interior design documentation
Key Requirements
What we're looking for
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Interior Design or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar interior documentation role
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software
- Excellent attention to detail and strong technical drawing skills
- Ability to interpret and translate design concepts into comprehensive documentation
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the design team and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with Australian construction standards and regulations
- Passion for the interior design industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
