Hare+Klein, led by Meryl Hare, is a team of creative designers who have ensured that the practice has maintained its position as one of Australia’s leading interior design studio s for nearly 3 decades.

We offer a full interior design service for residential properties, from concept through to completion, delivering professional well-documented solutions that exceed expectations and add value to projects. Our attention to detail is evident through the entire design and decorative process.

Hare+Klein’s studio is based in Woolloomooloo and currently has 12 staff. Principal Meryl Hare started Hare+Klein in Sydney in 1988. She is a Fellow of the Design Institute of Australia, recently awarded the ‘Order of Australia’ medal for her services to Interior Design, and has received citation for services to the design industry. Meryl was inducted into the DIA Hall of Fame in 2011 and also inducted into the Belle/ Fanuli Interior Design Awards 2021 Hall of Fame. Meryl has published 2 books on interior design and Hare+Klein have also created 4 ranges of rugs that are distributed through Designer Rugs.

About you
We’re looking for a creative and motivated individual to handle Hare & Klein social media, website management and studio front of house. If you are a team player with a keen eye for detail and have an expert understanding of social media in its various forms, we would love to hear from you.
Requirements
- Enthusiastic about social media and up to date with the latest digital trends and platforms.
- Creative mindset with strong storytelling and content creation skills.
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
- Previous experience in marketing or social media is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite is advantageous.
- Strong team player with the ability to build positive relationships with internal teams
MARKETING / ADMINISTRATOR
This person will need to have strong organisational skills, work well in a team environment with a "can do" attitude.
Marketing Duties:
- Coordinate and manage social media platforms – content creation, scheduling, and community engagement, conduct monthly analytics tracking and reporting
- Develop and implement monthly social media content plans to boost engagement and visibility.
- Stay current with social media trends and best practices, ensuring our content remains innovative and relevant.
- Media liaison with publicity for media opportunities
- Publicity tracking, monitor magazines for Hare & Klein features, keep accurate records of all published works and purchase relevant magazines/publications.
- Submit awards and media submissions
- Website management. Conduct monthly analytics tracking and reporting. Manage design and implementation of the website in collaboration with Meryl and the team.
