We are low looking to add a Mid Level Interior Designer & Documenter to our creative family.
This role will be responsible for developing and delivering beautiful design documentation and presentations for clients.
- Providing support from concept, planning, documentation, presentations, consultant coordination, onsite administration through to completion
- Liaising with suppliers, contractors and clients
- Ensure during build phase that projects are built as per documentation, budgets, and managing client expectations
- Prepare and lead internal, site and client meetings
- Introducing fresh concepts into the Make Haus studio whilst continuing to improve the look and feel of our presentations.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate will have strong technical design skills. You are a creative self-starter with a disciplined approach and have the ability to artistically interpret briefs and imagine, create and produce inspiring documentation. You are passionate about what you do, take pride in how you do it and have fun along the way! These are some of the core values that underpin the Make Haus team
Full time is the preference - Open to candidates that are also looking for 3-4 days.
Candidate Prerequisites
- Minimum 3 years experience
- Experience in software AutoCAD / sketch up, Layout Enscape preferable with InDesign + Photoshop skills
- A self-motivated focus to deliver to tight deadlines in a fast-paced, quickly changing environment, including across multiple tasks at one time.
- Working knowledge of the full design process including Concept, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documentation, Construction Administration, Procurement, and Installation.
- Strong conceptual design skills to create project visual direction
- Meticulous 2D documentation and 3D modelling skills
- Strong multi-tasking skills and exceptional time management
- Strong construction and detailed documentation skills
- Enthusiastic positive energy with a responsible work ethic
- Original thinker with a collaborative approach
- Capacity to operate autonomously + as part of a team.
