The Hired Home is a boutique Property Styling company that was founded in 2014.  We service clients across the Sydney metropolitan; however, our primary clients are focused in and around the Inner West, Lower North Shore and down towards the Shire. Our warehouse is centrally located in Marrickville.

We have a new opening for an Experienced Property Stylist. This is a great opportunity for a career in property styling and to learn from one of the best in the business.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for someone who is bright, energetic, and full of initiative. As a Property Stylist you will be responsible for the selection of furniture and accessories from our warehouse, packing jobs, client interactions, and ensuring our high styling standards are met and delivered to our clients and agents.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Working within a timeline to put together customised home-styling projects
  • Selecting and preparing for dispatch of accessories and furniture items for installations
  • Hands on packing/unpacking for Property Styling properties
  • High level of communications with Senior Management, Senior Stylist, Stylist Assistants and Logistics teams
  • Maintaining stock in warehouse in preparation for installations
  • Provide direction and support to logistics team during installations and bump outs
  • Representing our company values and becoming a key driver of positive culture within our business.
  • Dependant on experience, warehouse packing days. Pulling homewares for upcoming styling jobs.

Key Requirements

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THE TEAM:

Not everyone is cut out to work with us. To be seriously considered for this role, you will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 1+ years experience
  • Customer-focused, team-focused, results-driven and people-orientated
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Positive can-do attitude and fun-loving personality
  • Ability to simultaneously manage priorities and solve problems
  • Resourcefulness and flexibility
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Must have a valid Driver’s Licence and a reliable car
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task on a daily basis
  • Renumeration: $65,000 – $75,000 per year
