We have been supplying beautiful designer textiles to the trade since 1986 from our showroom in Rushcutters Bay.
Our textiles are woven and printed in the finest mills in the world, many in our exclusive designs. These high-quality fabrics reflect an attention to craftsmanship and express the enduring beauty of natural materials.
We are now looking for a mature, part time sales professional with knowledge of textiles to work with interior designers as part of a small team. This position would be responsible for the day-to-day organisation of the showroom, building relationships with our clientele, and assisting the State Sales Manager in achieving the sales targets.
Westbury Textiles as a service industry and the role is best suited to in individual who is highly motivated, proactive in building client relationships, with a sense of strong customer service and an ability to understand the clients aesthetic / project when given project briefs.
Key Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Time management efficiency with an ability to multitask between clients in the showroom, responding to phone call and email enquiries quickly
- Strong customer service building good client relationship i.e. listening to clients brief, negotiation and presentation skills
- Contacting and connecting with clients regularly to understand their business / style and reading clients ’needs and wants’ for current and future projects
- Showroom loan samples to be documented in loans book and calling clients to follow up on ‘overdue’ loan samples
- Back of House duties in maintaining a tidy / clean user-friendly showroom, monitoring sample chip stock and reordering from Perth sample dept.
- Available to work 3 days a week 9am - 5pm.
