Life Interiors is looking for a Trade Sales Consultant to join our dynamic Trade & Commercial team in Sydney. This is your chance to combine design flair with business development skills and play a key role in our continued growth.
Key responsibilities
- Consult with trade and commercial clients in person, over the phone, and via email, using our CRM/ERP systems (NetSuite) and customer service platform (Kustomer).
- Provide professional styling advice, including spatial planning and design presentations, to help clients bring their vision to life.
- Manage client relationships end-to-end — from first enquiry through to delivery and after-sales care.
- Apply your negotiation skills to retain sales, resolve challenges, and find win-win solutions for clients.
- Grow our database by nurturing existing clients and actively seeking new opportunities in the design and architecture community.
- Collaborate with Customer Service, Warehouse, and other internal teams to ensure a seamless experience for every client.
- Work towards budgets and KPIs, finding opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and expand client accounts.
- Represent the Life Interiors brand at the highest standard, both in the marketplace and within our team.
Key Requirements
What we are looking for
- Tertiary qualification in Interior Design or related field
- Minimum 2 years sales experience in the furniture or interiors industry
- Proven ability to deliver exceptional client experiences and achieve sales targets
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Resilient, proactive, and driven to achieve results in a fast-paced environment
- Tech-savvy, with experience using CRM/ERP systems
- A friendly, collaborative personality and a continuous improvement mindset
