The Role
We are seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you will work with a team to shape creative and innovative environments that inspire and transform.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to determine design objectives and constraints.
- Develop innovative and functional design concepts for workplace and commercial interiors.
- Create detailed design plans, sketches, schedules and 3D visualizations.
- Manage project timelines, budgets and resources effectively..
- Ensure all designs comply with statutory regulations and meet industry standards.
- Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in commercial interior design.
Main Tasks
- Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to understand their business needs, culture and design preferences.
- Research and analyse spatial, functional, efficiency, safety and aesthetic requirements for each project.
- Formulate creative design concepts that align with our client’s objectives and workplace strategy recommendations.
- Prepare and present sketches, diagrams, illustrations and plans to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Negotiate and coordinate design solutions with clients, project managers, consultants, suppliers and contractors.
- Select, specify and schedule recommended finishes, materials, furniture and equipment for each project.
- Create detailed documentation and specifications for selected designs to guide construction and implementation.
- Supervise the construction and installation process to ensure design integrity is maintained.
- Collaborate with team members and external partners to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up to date of industry trends and innovations.
Renumeration $75,000 per year
Key Requirements
What we expect:
- At least 2-years work experience in commercial Interior Design.
- Qualification in Interior Design or Architecture
