We span across six showrooms in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore, and we are looking to welcome a Sales Consultant to our new concession at David Jones Chatswood.

 

About the opportunity

As a Concession Sales Consultant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales within our new concession at David Jones Chatswood. This temporary, casual position offers an exciting opportunity to engage with premium customers, promote the collection and contribute to the overall success of the store. Your passion for retail, interest in design and commitment to customer satisfaction will be key in enhancing the shopping experience for our clientele.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and product selections.
  • Guide clients in furniture selection, customization, and design consultations.
  • Maintain a clean and organised concession area, ensuring products are well-displayed and stocked.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the point of sale.
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive shopping environment.
  • Stay informed about product knowledge and current promotions to assist customers effectively.
  • Handle customer complaints and feedback professionally to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Requirements

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of sales or front of house experience in the luxury or premium market
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Basic numeracy and computer skills for handling transactions.
  • A passion for customer service and a positive attitude.
  • An interest in designer, furniture or interiors
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and public holidays.
