The Role: A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Interior Designer at our Mosman-based firm. This firm is looking for a dynamic and creative Interior designer who shares our passion for high-end residential architecture and interior design. The role offers the opportunity to work in a creative design-focused environment with involvement across all project phases including concept design, planning documentation, construction documentation and construction. well as the design and documentation work, the successful applicant will be involved directly with clients and consultants and must be able to work both independently and as part of a vibrant office environment.
Key Requirements
The successful candidate must have:
- Experience working in, and demonstrated ability delivering, high-end residential architecture
- Experience with project documentation across all project phases
- Strong conceptual and design skills
- Experience working, and liaising directly, with clients, suppliers and consultants
- Great attention to detail and accuracy
- Time management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem solving skills
- Hardworking, self-motivated and able to work in a team environment or independently with minimal supervision
- Strong work ethic
- Awareness of BCA regulations and Australian standards applicable to residential development.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate for the role will be an all-rounder with the following experience, skills, and attributes:
- Australian resident
- Master and/or Bachelors of Interior Design from recognised university or Diploma
- Minimum four years full time experience in a Interior Design or Architectural practice
- Experience with VectorWorks and SketchUp is preferred
- Renumeration $75,000 – $95,000 per year
