Description
An established residential renovation company is seeking an Interior Designer to join its growing team.
This role involves working closely with clients to design and plan renovation projects including kitchens, bathrooms and interior living spaces. You will guide clients through the design process from initial consultation and layout planning through to finishes and selections, working closely with the project team to bring each design to life.
The position suits a designer who enjoys both creative work and client interaction and understands how thoughtful design translates into a successful renovation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Meet with clients in our showroom to discuss renovation projects
- Design kitchens, bathrooms, and joinery solutions
- Prepare layouts, concepts, and 3D designs
- Assist clients with selections (cabinetry, stone, tiles, tapware, etc.)
- Prepare quotes and proposals for renovation projects
- Work closely with our project managers
- Manage projects from design stage through to installation
- Build strong relationships with clients and suppliers
- Maintain CRM and track leads through to conversion
Key Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in kitchen, bathroom or joinery design
- Strong sales and client communication skills
- Ability to confidently present design concepts
- Knowledge of cabinetry and materials
- Experience with design software (SketchUp, CAD or similar)
- Highly organised with attention to detail
- A passion for design and creating beautiful spaces
