About the Role
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will support our Interior Designer in developing design concepts, preparing drawings, sourcing materials, and coordinating projects from concept to completion.
The role requires the flexibility to work from our warehouse in Chullora when needed.
Key Requirements
About You
You are a creative and motivated designer who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and developing your design skills. You balance creativity with practical thinking and are eager to contribute to projects, collaborate with the team, and support the delivery of thoughtful, well-executed design outcomes.
You will bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or a related field
- Internship experience may be considered
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, AI,or similar
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong creative and conceptual design skills
- Good knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Problem-solving mindset
- Basic understanding of project costing and budgeting
A Typical Day
- Assist in developing creative design concepts and presentations
- Prepare mood boards, 2D drawings, and 3D visualizations, AI render creations
- Support in space planning and product selection
- Conduct site visits and assist with project supervision and installations
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and clients
- Prepare quotations, specifications, and project documentation
- Ensure projects are delivered within timelines and budget
