The opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a junior design professional to join a growing minor works division and build a long-term career in commercial interiors.

This role will suit someone who enjoys the blend of design, technical detail, coordination and client interaction, and is looking to develop into a well-rounded industry professional. Working closely with directors and senior team members, you’ll gain broad exposure across space planning, documentation, estimating, supplier liaison and project delivery.

What you'll be doing

  • Attending sales and client briefing meetings with directors
  • Preparing space plans and layout options
  • Supporting cost planning, analysis and estimating
  • Producing drawings and project documentation
  • Liaising with suppliers and assisting with technical coordination
  • Working across spreadsheets, schedules and project information
  • Supporting the delivery of minor works projects from concept through to completion
  • Developing your knowledge across the technical, commercial and delivery side of the business

Key Requirements

About you

  • Background in interior design or workplace design from a head contractor environment
  • Experience using AutoCAD and/or Revit preferred but not essential
  • Comfortable working with spreadsheets, measurements and technical information
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work
  • Polished communication skills and confidence in a client-facing environment
  • A genuine interest in both the creative and practical side of design
  • Eager to learn, take ownership and grow within a high-performing team
