Michelle Leslie Studio is a Sydney-based interior design practice delivering refined, high-end residential and hospitality projects across Australia and internationally. Known for our detail-driven approach and strong industry relationships, we are seeking a proactive and motivated Administrative Coordinator / Procurement Assistant to join our Sydney studio on either a part-time (3–4 days per week) or full-time basis, engaged as either a contractor or employee.
This role supports the Procurement Manager in coordinating procurement activities across multiple high-end projects. It offers the opportunity to work closely with premium suppliers and consultants while contributing to a dynamic and growing design studio.
Key Responsibilities
- Obtaining and preparing supplier quotes
- Drafting purchase orders and processing invoices
- Organising samples and coordinating site deliveries
- Assisting with product specifications alongside the design team
- Supporting budget tracking and cost management
- Managing payment approvals
- Coordinating procurement schedules in line with project timelines
- General administrative support including filing, reporting, and data entry
Key Requirements
About You
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator with suppliers and consultants
- Proactive, efficient, and capable of managing multiple tasks
- Experience in design, architecture, or construction environments (advantageous)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (procurement or accounting software experience beneficial)
