Description
This is a hands-on, high-support role for someone who’s hungry to build their experience in residential and commercial interiors — and who understands that great design is about more than just making things look good.
The Role
As a Junior Interior Designer, you’ll support our design team in delivering beautifully curated, on-brief spaces. From preparing mood boards and schedules to coordinating product details and attending installs, you’ll be involved at every step of the journey — with plenty of guidance and room to develop your own voice.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in developing design concepts aligned to project briefs and timelines
- Create floorplans, mood boards and detailed product schedules
- Support the sourcing and scheduling of furniture and styling items
- Collaborate with suppliers to obtain quotes and sample materials
- Help prepare presentations and project documents for clients
- Attend client briefings, installations, and team design reviews
- Maintain design files, CRM systems and documentation accurately
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative studio environment
Key Requirements

- A degree or diploma in Interior Design or similar
- A strong eye for design, colour, materiality and styling
- Familiarity with software like SketchUp and Canva (or eager to learn)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A collaborative, can-do attitude and willingness to pitch in
- High attention to detail and time management
