An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Interior Designer to join the talented team at The Barefoot Stylist in Kogarah, NSW. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for creating bespoke, functional and visually stunning interior designs that reflect the unique needs and aesthetic preferences of our diverse client base.
What you'll be doing
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their design requirements and preferences
- Develop creative, innovative and practical interior design concepts and plans
- Select and source high-quality furniture, fixtures, finishes and decor items to bring the designs to life
- Manage the procurement, installation and project delivery processes to ensure seamless execution
- Stay up-to-date with the latest interior design trends, techniques and materials
- Provide expert guidance and advice to clients throughout the design process
- Work with the broader team to deliver exceptional client experiences and outcomes
Key Requirements
What we're looking for
- Tertiary qualification in Interior Design or a related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an Interior Designer, preferably in a similar role
- Demonstrated expertise in creating cohesive, aesthetically-pleasing interior design concepts
- Strong technical skills in areas such as space planning, product selection and project management
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Passion for staying ahead of the curve on interior design trends and innovations
- Collaborative team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
