About the Role

We have an opportunity for a proactive, highly organised and self-motivated Receptionist to join our team. The role is crucial for providing a positive “first impression” of the practice as well as supporting the day-to-day running of our design studio and Team.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the seamless management of the office through administration and office duties
  • Meet and Greeting clients and visitors ensuring an outstanding first impression of our brand
  • Maintaining the appearance of the studio space
  • Manage and redirect all incoming calls and enquiries
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing mail, couriers and deliveries
  • Keeping kitchen and lunch area tidy and clean
  • Managing meeting rooms, travel requirements, office catering, office supplies
  • Assisting with internal events and corporate engagements
  • Coordinate, manage and assist the Principal with business and personal commitments
  • Assisting with ad hoc duties as required to ensure the smooth operation of the business

Desirable skills and experience

  • competency in MS Word and Excel
  • a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • diligent, precise and reliable
  • at least 2 years work experience in a similar role
