About You

  • You may have recently finished up studies in interior design or are interested in moving into the interior design space. You’re that person who is always rearranging their bedroom, loungeroom or creating new boards on Pinterest to suit your evolving tastes and trends.
  • Alongside this interest in colours and textures, is your love for servicing customers. You possess a natural curiosity in what makes others tick, you find it easy to build rapport with people and love finding out more about the people you cross paths with.
  • Whether it is your studies or just life in general, you always have a plan of attack for your day, week and month. Whether it’s a calendar, app or to do list others can count on you to complete tasks on time and always be on time.

About the Role

In our boutique showroom, you’ll add incredible value through:

  • Greet and welcome customers into the showroom and showcase the range of stone slabs and tiles to an audience of architects, designers and high end retail clients.
  • Ask appropriate and relevant questions to customers to understand their tastes, styles, ideas, budget, and timelines to provide a tailored selection of natural stone products
  • Liaise with the project stakeholders on samples, quotes and lead times in order to provide specific, relevant, and up to date information on the product.
  • Follow up with customers by calling them and gaining commitment they'll put the stone on hold through a deposit.
  • Coordinating the payment and collection of stone with relevant trades such as builders and stonemasons
  • Ensure the showroom is immaculately presented at all times, including replenishing brochures, restocking items, and tidying.

 

Key Requirements

Selection Criteria

To be successful in this role, we’d love you to bring:

  • Experience in customer service or sales
  • An interest in interior design and architecture
