The Role:
Currently we are seeking a part time Designer to join our team. As a small team of five we work together but from home autonomously so there is a lot of flexibility in the working environment. This role is an essential role within the business; you will be responsible for drafting and documentation of all current and future projects and assist on all new builds and renovations alongside our Director and Lead Designer.
Key tasks of the role include:
+ Work alongside Director and Lead Designer in all design services
+ Interior documentation of all projects
+ Creation of 3D concepts and renders of all projects
+ Internal design meetings
+ Interior finish selections and schedules
+ General administration
+ Attending industry events and maintaining industry knowledge
Key Requirements
Essential Requirements:
+ At least 3 years plus relevant industry experience – please note this is not a graduate position, experience to 'hit the ground running' is required
+ Must have Australian work authorisation and legal right to work in Australia
+ Sydney based
+ Ability to work from home
+ Able to create 3D concepts in Sketchup / Renders in relevant program to align with The Stables aesthetic
+ Able to create Interior Documentation in AutoCAD
+ Must have a strong aptitude for both Design and Styling – a holistic approach
+ Degree or Diploma in Interior Design / Decoration
+ Drivers License and own car
+ Own Computer
+ Creative with an innate sense of style that will complement The Stables aesthetic
+ A friendly, warm approach
+ Detail orientated
+ Highly organised and efficient
+ Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
+ Time management skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
+ The ability to work autonomously and as part of a small team
+ Critical thinking, decision-making and problem-solving skills
