About the role
We have an opportunity for a Revit Draftsman/Junior (Student or recent Graduate) to join our team at Technik Haus Studio in Alexandria, NSW. As a Revit Draftsman, you will play a crucial role in the design process using your expertise in Revit software to bring our clients visions to life. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and rewarding projects within the Design & Architecture industry specifically Residential and Commercial.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of concepts from design through to documentation.
- Producing architectural drawings and documentation using Revit software for DA, CC or CDC stages.
- Ensuring drawings and models comply with relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards. Understanding of State/Local planning controls, Australian Standards and the NCC is beneficial.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest Revit software updates and industry trends.
Key Requirements
What we're looking for
- Some experience as a Revit Draftsman in the Design & Architecture industry is preferred but not essential.
- Proficiency in the use of Revit software. Some AutoCad skills are beneficial.
- An understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and industry regulations preferred.
- Attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate, well-organised drawings.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Adaptability and a willingness to continuously learn and improve your skills.
