$70-80K depending on experience

Studio Dentro is seeking a talented Junior / Mid-Level Interior Designer to join our growing Sydney studio.

Design, for us, begins with intent. We work across high-end residential, boutique commercial and wellness projects, creating spaces that are deeply conceptual, highly considered and rich in detail. This is a unique opportunity for a designer with strong creative instincts who wants to accelerate their career within an ambitious young studio entering an exciting period of growth.

THE ROLE

Working closely with the Studio Founder and Senior Interior Designer, you will contribute to projects from concept through to completion, supporting design development, documentation, procurement and project delivery.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Developing design concepts, presentations and material palettes
  • Producing documentation, schedules and specifications across all project stages
  • Developing SketchUp models, visual presentations and client-facing material
  • Supporting project delivery including compliance reviews, consultant coordination and procurement
  • Attending client meetings, site visits and contractor coordination meetings
  • Assisting with FF&E sourcing, supplier liaison and project administration
  • Contributing ideas, research and design thinking throughout the creative process
  • Supporting the delivery of multiple projects across high-end residential, hospitality and wellness sectors

Key Requirements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 2-4 years' experience within a high-end residential, hospitality or commercial interior design studio
  • Strong design sensibility with a sharp eye for materiality, detail and spatial quality
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Working knowledge of NCC, BCA and accessibility requirements
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working within a collaborative team environment
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • A genuine desire to contribute to and grow with an ambitious young studio
