A medium-sized, ward-winning custom home builder based in the southwest of Sydney, Prestons specialise in high-end knock-down rebuild homes in the Sydney metro area
Established 14 years ago, the company is still a close-knit family environment with a team that has an average of 15 years' experience in the industry for each employee.
An exciting position has opened for a talented Interior Designer to join this high performing team.
You will be responsible for providing advice and guidance on External and Internal selections for the client's homes and assisting with the External Vendor appointments, while ensuring all communication with customers is accurately noted and entered into our system in a timely manner.
This role requires an organised, self-motivated individual with excellent customer service, ensuring that all customers are greeted and provided with a positive and memorable experience. Ideally, you will hold a tertiary qualification in Interior Design (or be currently studying) with relevant experience working in a face-to-face customer service role.
THE ROLE:
As the new Colour Consultant/Interior Designer, you’ll be:
- Conducting showroom tours
- Booking colour meetings
- Carry out Colour Selection appointments assisting clients through the inclusions and colour options available for their new home, including appointments at external Vendors' showrooms
- Liaising with External Vendors and Suppliers
- Achieving KPI's
Key Requirements
THE MUST-HAVE SKILLS:
- A degree in interior design (bachelor, diploma or certificate), or working towards
- Passionate about interior design
- Strong attention to detail
- An enthusiastic personality
- Great customer service / interpersonal skills
- Fast learner
- Advanced Skills in 3D design software is required, Photoshop, Sketch-up Pro, In Design Illustrator is desired
- Intermediate Microsoft WORD, EXCEL & OUTLOOK computer skills

Salary $75,000 – $90,000 per year
