About the Role

We're in search of the ideal candidate with sales or customer service experience to JOIN OUR TEAM at Paddington Oxford ST, ideally in retail, home improvement, interior decorating, or building products industries. However, prior experience isn't obligatory as we provide thorough product training. Your main responsibility will involve assisting both consumers and trade customers in-store. Additionally, this role has a significant administrative component, including writing quotes, tracking orders, supporting senior sales staff, and updating social media platforms to ensure project delivery is on schedule.

We value individuals with a good grasp of technology and attention to detail. Teamwork is essential in achieving our sales targets, and we believe in delivering exceptional customer service as a collective effort. Presenting yourself professionally and possessing local area knowledge to understand community needs are important.

As a proactive and professional team member, you'll play a vital role in delivering top-notch service and expert advice, contributing to reputation for excellence.

Key Requirements

Your role entails:

  • Guiding retail and trade clients in fulfilling their design requirements
  • Cultivating personal connections with clients and pinpointing sales prospects
  • Engaging in follow-up correspondence via email and phone when necessary
  • Ensuring prompt completion of sales-related administrative duties
  • Being available to work six days a week, including one rostered weekend day, Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm (parking available on Saturdays).

Skills and Experience

We're looking for candidates with:

  • A team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, and excellent presentation
  • this role also involves packing samples , moving boxes around the showroom.
  • Cleaning and maintenance of store
  • working in a tight neat team of 2 people the ability to work anonymously on weekends.
