DKO is an award‑winning, multidisciplinary design practice of 300+ people across seven studios in Australia, New Zealand and South‑East Asia.

We work across architecture, interiors, landscape architecture and urban design, delivering large‑scale multi‑residential, mixed‑use, workplace and hospitality projects. Our work is design‑led, highly collaborative and grounded in thoughtful, commercially sound outcomes.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive and people‑focused Studio Manager / Coordinator to support the smooth day‑to‑day running of our Sydney studio.

This is a key role at the heart of the business — supporting leadership, driving a positive studio culture, and creating an exceptional workplace experience.

Immediate start preferred.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the smooth daily operations of the studio
  • Support Sydney Directors with calendar management and scheduling
  • Manage studio facilities, reception, events and travel coordination
  • Act as a culture champion, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment
  • Coordinate learning & development initiatives, training and registrations
  • Assist with budgets and general finance-related tasks
  • Ensure compliance with operational, risk and safety requirements
  • Represent the studio professionally with clients, partners and stakeholders

  • A natural communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, solutions-focused and calm under pressure
  • Passionate about creating a positive and engaging workplace
  • Must have full Australian working rights (no sponsorship available)
